Meet the Lucro Management Team
Founded in 2019 by Jessica Donovan and Amy Griswold, Lucro Management began with one clear vision: reveal the potential of places, spaces, and people. From the start, the name “Lucro” (Spanish for “profit”) has underscored their commitment to maximizing financial performance and delivering measurable results for clients.
Today, Jessica and Amy lead a Maine-based, women-founded firm that has evolved far beyond its early roots in hospitality. Their portfolio now spans real estate investment properties, residential construction management, home healthcare services and even an internationally based nonprofit seeking robust solutions. While many of Lucro’s clients operate in the $3–$10 million earnings range, Jessica and Amy maintain a soft spot for emerging entrepreneurs, offering à la carte services that help these smaller businesses get off the ground.
Their complementary skills- Jessica’s strengths in risk assessment, stakeholder relations, and business strategy, paired with Amy’s analytical acumen, financial foresight, and data-driven approach, create the balanced foundation that underpins Lucro’s success. They share core values of fortitude and growth, ensuring tenacity, adaptability, and innovation guide every client engagement.
Working together, they have spearheaded notable transformations, including positioning a branded hotel for a lucrative sale, unlocking hidden potential for the owner. Their hands-on collaboration and 30K foot view of business finances allow them to identify blind spots, streamline operations, and deliver long-term gains for clients across diverse industries.

Meet Jessica
Entrepreneur | Asset Manager | Financial Strategist
Jessica Donovan is a driven entrepreneur and strategic financial leader with a passion for helping businesses optimize their operations, reduce financial risk, and unlock long-term growth potential. As the co-founder of Lucro Management, she specializes in asset management, financial oversight, and risk mitigation, partnering with business owners across multiple industries to ensure financial clarity and operational efficiency.
With a background in hospitality and asset management, Jessica spent over a decade leading cost control, market positioning, and revenue optimization strategies for both branded and independently operated properties. Today, she applies that same detail-oriented, results-driven approach to businesses in construction management, nonprofit bookkeeping, and financial consulting for entrepreneurs.
Jessica’s expertise extends beyond financials—she thrives in collaboration, stakeholder relations, and strategic planning, ensuring her clients benefit from a high-level view of their business that identifies blind spots and drives smarter decision-making. Whether guiding a business through a major financial transition or helping an entrepreneur get organized for tax season, she remains committed to customized, hands-on solutions that deliver measurable results.
Deeply invested in her community, Jessica serves on the Lewiston-Auburn Railroad Committee and the Lewiston-Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce Business Advocacy Committee, where she also previously served as the 2021 Chair for the chamber’s Board of Directors. She has also contributed as a Development Committee Volunteer for United Way and a Fundraising Volunteer for Central Maine Medical Center.
At Lucro Management, Jessica continues to champion transparency, solution-seeking, fortitude, and growth, helping business owners protect their financial health, streamline operations, and realize the full potential of their assets.
Meet Amy
A smart, results-driven, strategic thinker, Amy started her career in hospitality as a banquet server. And that career quickly grew. After attending Endicott College’s School of Hospitality and completing an advance track MBA program, Amy managed the Front Office Team of the Hampton Inn, Exeter, NH’s opening. After less than a year at the Hampton, Amy was promoted to Director of Sales. In this role, she gained the critical knowledge of both hotel sales and operations, although she tended to prefer the monthly reporting and spreadsheet analyses.
Upon her return to her home state of Maine, Amy accepted the position of Office Manager at the Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch. It was there that Amy and Jess first met. A lifelong learner committed to professional growth, Amy capitalized on her time at the Hilton to learn new skills in human resources. She was able to successfully maintain a positive relationship with team members while gracefully administering performance corrections. Additionally, Amy maintained her sales skills and worked with clients through AR Administration while improving her operational skills through direct work with the Night Auditors. Continuing to learn, she was promoted to the position of Controller, managing the AP, financial statements, cash management, and providing assistance with budgets.
Growth and development are so important to Amy because of the opportunities she has been given to grow within this industry. She now brings that deep experience and know-how to Lucro Management.
